Terms of Service

1. Service description

RentDash is a software-as-a-service application that helps private landlords track properties, tenants, leases, expenses, payments, and related financial metrics. The service is operated by Kristián Partl — Krpasoft.

2. Account registration

To use the service you must create an account with a valid email address and password, or sign in with a supported OAuth provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity performed under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@rentdash.example if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to circumvent security, access controls, or plan tier limits.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
  • Upload or store data that contains malware, illegal content, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications to third parties.
  • Resell, sublicense, or make the service available to parties outside your organization without written permission.

4. Data ownership

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into the service (property details, tenant records, financial entries, uploaded documents). We process this data solely to provide the service on your behalf. You can export all your data at any time via the export feature, and we will delete your data within 30 days of account closure unless otherwise required by law.

5. Plans and payment

The service offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro, Business). Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing period. Pricing, features, and limits are documented on the pricing page. We use Stripe as our payment processor; your payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our systems.

Note: payment processing will be activated in Phase 6 of the MVP rollout. Until then, only the free tier is available.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or infrastructure changes that cause temporary downtime. No service level agreement is implied for the free tier. Paid tiers may include a published SLA in a future version of these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time via the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, including but not limited to violations of the acceptable use clause. Upon termination we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export and reactivation, after which it will be permanently deleted.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
